Singing with Our Vibrant Group Classes: Our vocal group classes are fun, energetic and informative –the perfect place to start your child’s vocal journey. Watch them blossom as they gain confidence, self-awareness, social skills and emotional intelligence, all while developing technical vocal and performance skills. 4-week Mini Vocal Course. Build Your Foundation with proven Techniques!
Join our 4-week mini course designed to help students develop a strong foundation in vocal techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced singer, this class is perfect for all levels.
Course Highlights:
* Comprehensive Vocal Training: Learn to sing with proper technique and receive personalized instruction.
* Song Performances: Perform songs in class using backing tracks.
* Warm-Ups & Scales: Each class begins with essential breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, and piano scales.
Customized Learning: Pick a song before the class starts and enjoy a curriculum tailored to your need and goals.

Kat, the founder of Voice Academy NYC, discovered her passion for teaching others to sing and has since dedicated her career to it. Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Kat is an accomplished singer, songwriter and performer. In addition to her work who with students, she collaborates with numerous production companies and record labels, nurturing musical talent from children to adults. Her long list of student achievements speaks to her effectiveness and commitment.

Is your child passionate about singing? Our specially designed vocal classes for kids aged 7-12 will help them enhance their singing abilities and gain valuable vocal techniques.

Inclusive for All Levels: Whether your child is a beginner or looking to advance their skills, all styles and levels are welcome.

Classes begin with group warm-ups to foster a sense of community and camaraderie.
Personalized Attention: Students will engage in both individual and group performance work to develop their unique voice.
Comprehensive Skill Development: Focus on voice technique, song performance and stage presence. Your child will learn to sing with confidence and express emotions through their music.

Tate Chu
Teaches Pop, Musical Theater, Opera and Song Performance
Tate Chu is a “Tate is a professional opera singer, vocalist, performer, and voice/piano instructor from beautiful San Diego, California. Classically trained, she has sung the great soprano roles from Musetta (La bohème) and Gilda (Rigoletto) to her upcoming performance as Nedda (I Pagliacci) with Opera New York. Tate has performed in musicals such as Phantom of the Opera (Carlotta), Grease (Rizzo), and Once on This Island (Mama Euralie) and stage directed multiple productions as founder of her company The CoOperative. She has sung alongside Andrea Bocelli (Hollywood Bowl),
Tate believes that music has the power to bring empowerment, hope, and motivation to all walks of life and could not be more thrilled to be teaching voice at Voice Academy NYC. She looks forward to working with music lovers of all ages and uncovering the power of music in your life!”
