CLASS DETAILS: A fun, informative and supportive series of classes where students learn basic vocal technique and sing songs as a group with some individual instruction given. All classes start with breath and vocal exercises with piano. Total beginners to intermediate level are welcomed. Students are expected to practice the warmups (provided) and do their best to memorize lyrics to songs.
Weekly Topics include:
Proper Breath Control, Head Voice/Chest Voice, Singing with Emotion, Dynamics, Rhythm and Live Performance.
Course consists of (4) 60-minute singing lessons with group up to 4.
Azudi Onyejekwe is an experienced professional performer – including Broadway (aside Josh Groban), off-Broadway productions and live pop/modern band shows all over New York and beyond. Azudi was educated as an actor/performer at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (where he is an acting instructor) and he specializes in teaching singers the art of performance.
